Depending on where you live, you may be inundated with wedding DJ choices, or struggling to find a professional who can get the job done. Either way, you’re going to want to make a shortlist of available DJ’s who fit within your budget, before you start to interview and narrow your selection. Here are a few ideas to help you start your search.

Friends and family should be the first place you look. Asking some married couples for referrals is a great way to hear about a DJ first hand. A Facebook post requesting some recommendations might be a good way to get your shortlist started.

There are tons of great facebook groups to help you find wedding vendors, but before you go join any of those groups, you should know it’s a feeding frenzy. There are an endless amount of wedding vendors for you to sort through, so one of the best ways to find a few great ones would be to ask any vendors you have already hired if they can make some recommendations. Since they may have worked with them before, they can likely make some great recommendations.
